All lessons are dependent upon instructor availability. Please e-mail us with your lesson needs and we will be able to confirm current availability.<\/div>\n
1. The first step is to decide what lessons you would like and contact our reservation team to confirm availability for those lessons on your chosen date\/s. Please include relevant details such as if you want a ski or a snowboard lesson. Dates and duration of desired lessons. Have you skied and snowboarded before and what level and ages are the members of the desired lessons.<\/p>\n

Email is preferable as it is less likely for errors to occur. Please email: mail@fiss.jp<\/p>\n

2. Once we have confirmed availability, we will “pencil” you into your instructor’s roster and you will be asked to pay for your lesson and return your completed release of liability form to confirm with us your commitment to take the lesson. Once the payment and form are received, we will then lock in your booking into our schedule so others are unable to take your slot with your instructor. Please note however, that your initial enquiry does not constitute a booking until payment is received.<\/p>\n

Before making payment please read our cancellation policy so you know what to expect if you need to cancel for some reason.<\/p>\n

3. Once step 2 is complete, we will send you confirmation of your lesson. If in the unlikely event you do not receive confirmation within 48hrs once the previous step is completed, please contact our office to have it send out.<\/p>\n

By making a booking with us you are accepting our cancellation policy and release of liability. <\/div>\n

\n

We understand that things don’t always go to plan.<\/p>\n

\"Jan<\/a><\/p>\n

Obviously we understand if you need to cancel for any reason (unforeseen events etc), provided you let us know 7 days prior to your booking start, we will happily reimburse your full lesson fees.<\/p>\n

Once it gets closer to the booking the harder it is for us to resell those time slots missed.
\nWith this in mind if you cancel:
\n6 days prior to your booking we will return 80% of your lesson fees.
\n5 days prior to your booking we will return 60% of your lesson fees.
\n4 days prior to your booking we will return 40% of your lesson fees.
\n3 days prior to your booking we will return 20% of your lesson fees.
\nAt 48 hours or less from your lesson start time, it is extremely difficult to get alternative bookings at such short notice, so unfortunately you will not be eligible for any refund as we will use the fee to recuperate the instructors wage cost.<\/p>\n

In the event of inclement weather:<\/strong>
\nFull refunds will be issued if, for reasons such as bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances,
\nFurano Ski Area is forced to close it’s facilities for the period of time that your lesson was due to take place.
\nIf it is only a temporary closure of facilities we may offer you a choice between postponing the lesson (if available) or issuing you a refund.
\nIf appropriate facilities are available for us to conduct your lesson then your lesson will go ahead as scheduled. We won’t for example issue a refund, just because its snowing.<\/p>\n

Meeting your instructor: Please check your lesson confirmation to familiarize yourself with the confirmed time and place to commence your lesson. Our instructors will be waiting for you prior to the start of your lesson in one of the locations below. Your instructor will be wearing a bright yellow jacket with “FISS” written on the back.<\/p>\n

Shin Furano Prince Hotel (Furano Zone) Ski & Snowboard Lesson Meeting Area<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You will meet your instructor in the large flat open area shown below, just outside of the Shin Furano Prince Hotel.<\/p>\n

For Guests making their way to the meeting area from the Ropeway Station, please walk up the slope towards the large towering hotel and the double chairlift. The meeting area will be visible as you approach the chairlift load station.<\/p>\n
